Jessie Diggins WINNER women; 5th finisher HSF-20 Tan

Although the air temps ended up about 10 degrees warmer than predicted for the races, the lake snow remained dry and cool  .
White wax held up as the best choice for the early races and racers reported excellent skis.  For the 13K, White still tested well as did Teal,
but Tan had an edge in the rapidly warming sunny portions of the open lake track.

Good glide but heavily rilled skis that were good in the wet sections of the trail slowed down in the drier sections...
 a difficult mix of conditions to determine the best overall ski choice.
